shell
Surf Song is a 120 year old Victorian beach house, located on the prestigious Officers Row of Tybee Island, Georgia.  Enjoy our private beach access, wraparound porch, delectable breakfasts, and attentive service!

Only 300 steps to the beach, Surf Song Bed & Breakfast offers a unique Tybee experience with luxurious guest accommodations, elegant common areas, and an in-ground swimming pool. Our front windows look out to palm trees, swaying in the coastal breeze. The wraparound porch is ideal for a lazy lounging day, listening to the song of the ocean waves. It is the perfect place for a romantic getaway, and is just a short 30 minutes away from Savannah, Georgia.

We want your time on Tybee to be truly carefree. Beach towels and coolers are available.  Complimentary water, soft drinks, and snacks are available any time of day.

Beautiful Old Home

On the first day we had to come in late and they stayed up to receive us personally and it immediately felt more like family than it would have otherwise.
From the personalized Anniversary card in our room to the engaging conversation during breakfast, my recommendation is 5 stars.
Thanks to Megan and Jeremy and Surf Song for making us feel like family and making this vacation unforgettable!

Officers Row Gem

The house is lovely and in a fantastic location. The common areas are welcoming and the front porch is the perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning. Breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious! We enjoyed chatting with the other guests and marveled at some of the historic features of the house.

 enjoy the beach & hospitality

Megan and Jeremy were fantastic innkeepers. They made us feel very welcome and the breakfasts were phenomenal. We stayed in the sunrise suite and it was perfect, just a short walk down to the beach. Definitely will be back to enjoy the beach and their hospitality.

Things to Do

The area in and around Tybee Island is beautiful and has lots of activities that will keep you busy for your whole weekend getaway. A few of the local favorites are Fort Pulaski, which is a national monument from the civil war. Forsyth Park is a great place to take in the day. The Savannah Historic District is another popular place to visit because a lot of original town is still around today almost 200 years later. Wormsloe Historic Site has a museum, theatre, picnic area, and gift shop. Make sure to take a lot at all of the great area attractions.

There are also some really great restaurants to stop in and enjoy a bite to eat. Try out The Crab Shack for some tasty seafood. If you are wanting something a little bit more casual there is always
Lighthouse Pizza or The Sundae Cafe.
